Christmas and New Years have come and gone. I got a few good pictures (and lots of bad ones), a ton of good times, and lots of memories.

But lets start with pictures! The bad ones are my favorite. They show the real 'us'. The posed pictures always seem so formal. We are in NO WAY a formal family. It is more natural to have a picture of Sid and Ains figithing about who is going to sit where. Or a pic of Sid and Ryan with Chandler trying to get in on the action also!

Well, now that we got the bad ones out of the way, how about a couple of good ones...

Joe and I always go out on New Years Eve. This yeah though, we decided it would be nice to stay home, eat snacks, and play games with Mom and Ainsley. It was so nice to not have to go out in the cold or drive anywhere. Maybe this will become our new tradition! Of course, the dogs were there to ring in the new year also. Ross especially enjoyed playing cards with us!
He DID NOT like wearing the party hat though!

So, we left the hat to Ainsley. She liked it!

Introducing.......

Hi!
I am Rachel! I have an amazing husband, Joe (who is the second Lobster). We have been  married for 10 years now. It seems like just yesterday that we were celebrating Christmas with his family as 'friends'! We have two great daughters. Sidney, who will be 16 very soon and Ainsley, who will turn 10 on Christmas day.
Almost three years ago we moved from the only area we has known to a suburb of St. Louis. It was easy to say we would come back often and visit, but it is a lot harder to make that happen!
So, I thought this would be a good place to share pictures and stories with all of our friends and family who we no longer get to see on a regular basis. I can post put a bunch of embarassing pictures of the kids on here! Or maybe I will use it to vent. Or write love letters to my husband. Or maybe I will do all of these things. I guess we will see!
